Gadi Baltiansky, Director General of Geneva Initiative – Israel, spoke at J-Street’s 11.9 symposium “Breaking Free of the ‘One-State Reality’ in Israel-Palestine: Exploring Confederation Models” about the two-state solution vs. confederation models. He represented both the common ground between confederal and two-state solution models and posed a number of questions regarding the timing and potential impact on public opinion of the former. Around 150 Israeli, Palestinian, and international participants attended the virtual symposium.
