On August 16th, we were joined by a group of Jewish and Arab women leaders, including CSO leaders, educators, entrepreneurs, and political activists, for an introductory workshop in Haifa. The group heard from Tehila Wenger, GI Deputy Director, and Sarai Aharoni, Head of Gender Studies at Ben Gurion University, on a range of topics from the core issues of the conflict and the solutions proposed by the Geneva Accord to the importance of incorporating women’s perspectives at the negotiating table.
Next up: a tour of East Jerusalem to learn about the city at the heart of the conflict.
