In October, we organized a panel discussion on the impact of the war on women attended by over 200 young Israelis. The panelists – Israeli and Palestinian female conflict and gender experts – explored a range of topics including the absence of women from the ceasefire-hostage deal negotiations and how their involvement could change the discussions, whether there is truth behind the perception that ‘women make peace’, the different effects of war on women compared to men, and how the gender perspective can create a better future for all.
