New Cohort of Arab Women Leaders in Policy Training

A new cycle of the “Geneva Ambassadors” dialogue and policy enrichment program has been launched, providing influential women leaders from Arab society with a unique peace and conflict policy training course that equips them with tools to lead change and amplify their voices in the public sphere.

In an interview on the program Five O’Clock with Yousef Shadad on Makan, Zainab Abu Suweid, the Geneva Initiative project manager for programming in Arab communities in Israel, emphasized the importance of integrating more women into decision-making processes. She highlighted the unique role of Arab society as a bridge between Jewish Israelis and Palestinians, thanks to its deep familiarity with both narratives. She also spoke about the direct link between the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the internal challenges facing Arab society, stressing the urgent need for action and change.

We believe that women are a central force in advancing peace processes and driving meaningful influence. The Geneva Ambassadors political training program aims to empower women and increase their involvement in shaping a peaceful future.
