On January 10th, one of our Arab-Jewish women’s cohorts ended their policy training in an advocacy meeting with Ra’am MK Iman Khatib. They spoke about the importance of hearing active voices in Knesset calling for a two-state solution to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and the role of women in bringing a unique – and currently missing – perspective to peace and security decision-making. The meeting also included brainstorming of peace-building initiatives that will widen the scope of project messaging beyond the direct participants.
