Arab Women Leaders Meet With MK Aida Touma-Suleiman

On August 24^th, outstanding participants of our project for Arab women leaders in Israel organized a meeting with MK Aida Touma-Suleiman. During the meeting, the group discussed how women’s participation in decision-making, especially the participation of women in Arab society in Israel, can be promoted, the role that Arab society in Israel plays in building bridges between the sides and promoting reconciliation, and the relationship between democracy and peace. MK Touma-Suleiman emphasized her support for the two-state solution, the project, and for the peace-building initiatives that the project participants are creating.
