Day of learning in Ramallah for journalists

On January 5th, the GI brought 20 Israeli journalists to Ramallah, where they met with the Palestinian deputy Prime Minister Nabil Abu Rudeineh alongside other Palestinian ministers and former officials. Abu Rudeineh emphasized the PA’s enduring commitment to the two-state solution as the only real, just, and lasting solution to the conflict. He also stated, “The Israeli government is playing with fire when it separates Gaza from the West Bank, when they transfer money to Hamas and cut taxes from the Palestinian Authority.”

After a short tour of the city, we had a lunch meeting with members of the Geneva Initiative – Palestinian Peace Coalition, discussing outreach and signs of hope among Palestinian youth. These meetings are part of a broader GI project to promote active advocacy for the two-state solution among media influencers.
