On February 16th, we were joined by a group of diverse women leaders, including lawyers, senior educators, and leaders of civil society organizations, for a tour of East Jerusalem led by conflict expert Hagit Ofran. The group visited some of the most sensitive points in the city to better understand the Palestinian narrative, the status of Palestinian East Jerusalemites, and the role of Jerusalem in the broader conflict context. Participants left with the understanding that despite representing some of the greatest challenges, Jerusalem also represents some of the greatest potential advantages to a successful peace process.
