On April 11th, we were joined by thirty directors, deputy directors, and activists of Israeli civil society member organizations in the GI’s Two-State Coalition for a full-day tour of the Gaza Envelope area. The tour included an overlook of the Northern Gaza Strip and a glimpse into the destruction caused by the war, as well as stops in communities and sites that were targeted in the Hamas massacres on October 7th. The group also met residents from the south who spoke about their experiences, trauma, loss, and how they nonetheless maintain hope for a better future and an end to the conflict.
