On 10th November, a group of leading Israeli opinion-shapers (including journalists from diverse news outlets, polling experts, PR strategists and advertising consultants) participated in our seminar that focused on understanding more about the political situation in Gaza. The group met with a senior political figure from the Gaza Strip and heard directly from him about the current political and socio-economic dynamics, the realities of daily life and the attitudes of the public. They learned that the majority of Gazans want to live in peace and security like the majority of Israelis. Other speakers included Nadav Greenberg (UNSCO) and policy expert, Celine Touboul (Co-Director of Economic Cooperation Forum).
The participants left the meeting with a feeling that there are Palestinian partners willing to work in harmony to build a better future.
The next stop for this group will be a visit to Ramallah to meet with Palestinian officials, opinion-shapers and members of the Palestinian peace camp.
