On July 17th, journalists from several prominent media outlets in Israel joined us for a geopolitical tour of East Jerusalem led by conflict expert and leading member of the GI, Dr. Shaul Arieli. At viewpoints and sites of tension, Dr. Arieli shared his expertise on the history and geography of the city at the center of the conflict, the importance of Palestinian territorial contiguity, and the impact of settlement expansion on the Palestinian residents of the city and the viability of the two-state solution.
