On the 11th June, the Geneva Initiative’s Director Gadi Baltiansky met with the UK’s Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa, James Cleverly. The GI presented our concerns over annexation and there was an exchange of views on the best ways to take the peace process forward, rather than backward. Alongside this, the minister was informed about the GI’s activities and actions to prevent harmful unilateral steps.
We appreciate the UK’s long-standing commitment to the Two-State Solution and believe it will play a constructive role in the coming weeks and months. We will continue to cooperate with all of our international friends on the road to peace, especially during crucial times like these.
