On February 23rd, close to 20 young women, many of them social and political activists, joined us for an introductory workshop. Lectures led by Israela Oron, an Israeli leading member of the GI, and Nivine Sandouka, a Palestinian peace activist, focused on the core issues of the conflict, past peace negotiations, the Palestinian narrative and Palestinian public opinion. In the next activity, the group will join an on-the-ground tour of Jerusalem, deepening their understanding of different historic narratives and the issue at the heart of the conflict.
