On Thursday, August 7th, we held a meeting of the USF Coalition’s political group, led by Ms. Hiba Qasas, Executive Director of the international organization Principles for Peace. The discussion focused on Israeli public opinion regarding a regional political settlement and on possible strategies to advance the issue. Participants included Israeli and Palestinian experts on the conflict, security, politics, former diplomats, and civil society representatives. In addition to Hiba Qasas, MK Rabbi Gilad Kariv and Nidal Foqaha, Director General of the Palestinian Geneva Initiative, presented insights and framings for the group discussion.
