Members of the Israeli Two-State Coalition received an on-the-ground update from their Palestinian partners, and discussed steps that can be taken to increase effectiveness during this difficult period. The conversation focused on shifting dynamics in the West Bank such as growing support for cooperation with Israel, rising secularism and a distancing from religious extremism.
This is the right time to strengthen our joint efforts in winning the battle against the common enemy — the corona virus — and then focus all of our energy on winning the battle for peace. After all, both of these are battles for our lives.
