Israeli Two-State Coalition meets with Former MK Ofer Shelah

Members of our Israeli Two-State Coalition met with former MK for Yesh Atid, Ofer Shelah on April 6th. The discussion delved into the role of the Israeli peace camp in promoting a political agreement to the conflict in which Shelah encouraged the organisations to lobby MK’s to elevate the issue in the Knesset. Having been sidelined in political discussions, he urged us to continue raising the flag of the two-state solution. The participants shared analysis about the Israeli election results, prospects from the new Biden administration and the impact of the Abraham Accords.
The Two-State Coalition is a collective of 24 Israeli and Palestinian civil society organisations working unilaterally and bilaterally to advance the two-state solutions in both societies. Within this framework, we engage with local leaders and international stakeholders, and coordinate our action.
