Towards the end of July, we held a two-day seminar for leading Israeli journalists and municipal leaders from across the country. The seminar began in Jerusalem, with sessions mediated by media experts, international diplomats, and a rare meeting with a current resident of Gaza and former Palestinian minister. The theme of the seminar was policy enrichment, with an emphasis on providing the knowledge, connections, and empathy needed to advance change in the conflict. On the second day of the seminar, the group traveled to Bethlehem for a Palestinian-guided tour of the separation barrier as well as important cultural, historic, and political sites.
