A group of young female activists in Israel joined us for a geopolitical tour of Jerusalem on March 15th. Tour guide Hava Schwartz led participants to various key sites throughout the city, providing the group with a comprehensive overview of the history of the city and its significance to Israelis and Palestinians, the challenges facing Palestinian East Jerusalemites, and attempts to ‘Judaize’ the city. In the next activity, the group will meet Palestinian peace activists from East Jerusalem to learn more about these issues and the Palestinian narrative.
