On August 2nd, close to 30 women leaders from Jewish and Arab communities in Israel visited Jerusalem to learn about the situation on the ground. Through visits to viewpoints and sites of tension, as well as expert insights from tour guide Dr. Shaul Arieli, the participants learned about the history of the city, the status of Palestinian East Jerusalemites, and the solutions for the complex issues of Jerusalem, borders, and security. Participants left with the understanding that despite the on-the-ground challenges, the two-state solution remains viable.
