“Every time I participate in these meetings, I feel that there is a partner on the other side,” Mohammed, a young leader participating in our reconciliation program, told us. Twenty-two young leaders traveled from Nablus, Ramallah, Hebron, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Beersheba to participate in our two-day seminar in Haifa on 24th-25th March where they explored how the conflict impacts their daily lives, public perceptions, the narratives, the myths, and the history that has come to shape these beliefs, the obstacles that prevent progress and the solutions that exist. They all arrived at the same conclusion: the current situation is unsustainable, a political solution is needed, urgently. They intend to work within and beyond their communities to achieve this.
