On 10th October, our partners at the Palestinian Peace Coalition held a tour for a group of Palestinian journalists, youth activists and civil society representatives. During the tour, the group met with local leaders; the former head of the Water Authority, Shadad Attili and PPC’s Director, Nidal Foqaha. They were briefed on the challenges of life from settlement expansion to displacement, the realities on the ground and the impact of the ongoing de facto annexation. The Jordan Valley is the breadbasket of a future Palestinian state. Any attempt to compromise this endangers the viability of the two-state solution.
