On the 19th of February, Geneva Initiative Deputy Director Tehila Wenger gave a lecture to a group of students from the Aderet pre-military academy. The lecture focused on the two-state solution and the principles of the Geneva Accord, offering students an in-depth look at how the Geneva model addresses the core issues of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, including borders, security, Jerusalem, and refugees, as well as Palestinian public opinion and how to engage and strengthen potential partners on the other side.
The students explored how negotiated agreements can provide practical solutions, even amid today’s complex political and security realities. The lecture encouraged critical thinking and dialogue, equipping participants with a deeper understanding of existing diplomatic frameworks and their continued relevance.
