This month, we opened our new leadership enrichment course for Russian speakers on peace and the conflict. Our participants are dozens of young first and second generation Russian-speaking immigrants to Israel from a variety of backgrounds and social networks. The goal of the course is to offer these young influencers the tools and knowledge to become informed advocates for the two-state solution within their own communities. In the first few meetings, our course participants met with GI director Gadi Baltiansky and GI head Yossi Beilin, who discussed the history of the peace process and the relevance of the two-state solution today. Later on in the course, these young leaders will meet with Palestinian officials and visit the GI – Palestinian Peace Coalition’s offices in Ramallah, experiencing firsthand the commitment to peace of the Palestinian partner on the other side.
