On a particularly wintery December evening, 25 Russian-speaking media personnel and bloggers joined the GI for an intensive session to delve even further into matters of peace and the conflict. Participants engaged in intensive discussion with former Member of Knesset, Ksenia Svetlova and gained insight into the Palestinian perspective from former Minister for Prisoners Affairs, Ashraf al-Ajrami. For many, this was their first opportunity to hear from a Palestinian and real proof that there is a willing partner for peace on the other side.
This is the next phase of our Russian-speaking leadership course that is working to equip members of the community with the tools and knowledge to promote the two-state solution in their circles, and beyond!
