On December 11th, the Geneva Initiative brought together the head of the Ra’am party MK Mansour Abbas with Jewish senior religious leaders, including heads of learning institutions, synagogue communities, and religious leadership training programs in Israel for an honest conversation about the intersections between religion, war, and peace. The group left the conversation with an understanding of the need to strengthen interfaith discourse and build bridges between Israelis and Palestinians. The meeting took place in the framework of ongoing GI efforts to empower advocates for peace in both the Arab and national-religious communities in Israel.
