On September 3rd, a group of Israeli senior journalists, parliamentary advisors, and political activists, joined us for a trip to Ramallah to meet with leading Palestinian figures in politics, media, and civil society. The expert speakers spoke about the current situation on the ground in the West Bank and Gaza, the importance of reconciliation, and the need to return to the negotiation table. Participants asked numerous questions about Palestinian public opinion, the political situation in the West Bank and Gaza, and the main obstacles to peace. The participants left with new insights into the Palestinian narrative of the core issues of the conflict and the knowledge needed to engage in constructive dialogue with their Palestinian counterparts.
