Our reconciliation project for young leaders continued with a new cohort of Israeli parliamentary advisors and activists from religious, Ethiopian, LGBTQ communities and more. On Friday 25th June, the group heard from East Jerusalemite activist Nivine Sandouka, who offered her analysis on the recent violence in May, and from Dr Yuval Benziman on how reconciliation can be a catalyst for reigniting a peace process. In the upcoming meetings, the participants will meet with their Palestinian counterparts.
We hope that this project will strengthen motivation, knowledge, and connections among young people who can help us achieve a more peaceful future.
