Tour for Diplomats to Jerusalem: Setting Israel’s Eastern Border

The case for advancing towards the two-state solution is stronger than ever. On 26th May, 25 representatives from the EU, UK, Germany, Russia, Egypt, Japan, Canada and many more leading European countries, joined our tour of Jerusalem and its environs led by Dr. Shaul Arieli to see exactly why. We explored the political, demographic and territorial reality of the situation on the ground, and the impact of settlement expansion in Givat Hamatos, E1 and E2. Despite the political obstacles, the diplomats saw how creative joint solutions and detailed plans – like the Geneva Accord – can ensure the viability of a future Palestinian state alongside a secure state of Israel.
The international community is an integral partner in our pursuit towards realizing a long-lasting solution, we intend to continue working in synergy.
