On 22nd June, a dozen representatives of Palestinian and Israeli civil society organizations of the Two-State Coalition met for a full day of meetings to brief each other on their take of recent political developments. The group shared analysis about the shift in Palestinian perspectives in relation to Sheikh Jarrah and Gaza tensions, future Palestinian elections and assessments of the new Israeli government. Joined by the co-chairs of the GI, Yossi Beilin and Yasser Abed Rabbo, we exchanged ideas and action plans about ways to revive a peace process at the political and grassroots levels, how to promote reconciliation among the publics, and how we can activate our international and regional networks.
