Two-State Coalition Meets with Olmert

Yesterday, Israeli and Palestinian members of our Two-State Coalition met with former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to discuss the suspended annexation, the next steps in the peace process, and strategies for the peace camp in both of our societies.
Olmert said that, with annexation taken off the table, the two-state solution has been re-approved as the only only option for ending the conflict and that now we must work towards this goal without hesitation. The discussion also touched on the issue of the ongoing de facto annexation on the ground, public opinion on both sides and Israeli-Palestinian coordination.
At the end of the conversation, Olmert thanked Israeli and Palestinian civil society organisations for the efforts we are making to reach a peace agreement and encouraged us to keep on going.
