On October 22nd, we organised an online discussion with Brig. Gen. (ret.) Israela Oron and 50 participants of our cross-border women’s leadership project. Israela gave insights into the diplomatic and security implications of the ongoing war, and how a political peace agreement is likely to be affected by various future scenarios. Participants shared their feelings and narratives and asked Israela numerous questions about security, policy, and Palestinian positions. At the beginning of this month, the same participants shared their own initiatives aiming to orient public opinion toward peace and turn the current crisis into a two-state solution and a sustainable end to the conflict.
