Reporters, correspondents, editors and radio hosts from a variety of news outlets including Yedioth Ahronoth, Israel Hayom, Maariv, Kann 11, Haaretz, Channel 12, 13 and more, participated in our workshop on Thursday 8th July for leading opinion-shapers. They were presented with data and the trends shaping Palestinian attitudes towards the two-state solution from pollster Dr Khalil Shikaki, and analysis from the GI’s Director Gadi Baltiansky on how the media impacts Israeli public perceptions, as well as the political arena regarding the conflict. Political psychologist Dr. Roni Porat, spoke about attitude formation in the public sphere, and the cognitive barriers to conflict resolution. The journalists will head to Ramallah for their next session.
