A few days ago, former minister and negotiator Tzipi Livni met with over fifty Israeli graduates of our young leadership reconciliation program.
Her message was clear:
“We must not forget our national vision, and the only way to achieve it is the two-state solution. The fact that you, the next generation, are here at this conference is so important, especially in these times. We can end the conflict. We must not lose sight of that goal.”
Conference participants also heard from a panel of experts discussing how to impact the discourse about peace and reconciliation through political, grassroots, and media activism. At the end of the conference, our graduates divided into subject-based working groups on a variety of topics: youth engagement on the topic of political solutions, peace discourse in religious communities, effective media outreach, and more.
