On October 16th, Israeli and Palestinian graduates of our young leaders’ dialogue program joined us for two parallel online meetings led by our directors, Gadi Baltiansky and Nidal Foqaha. During the discussions, Gadi and Nidal explained the position of the Geneva Initiative on current events to our program participants. Our young leaders, many of whom are still reeling personal and national tragedies, asked thoughtful and sensitive questions about the current situation and the future of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
While addressing her peers, a program graduate and social media influencer from the Arab community in Israel said: “I see despair in many of your eyes. But we must continue the process that leads to real peace. Thank you for coming to this. It was important to see you here.”
