On May 7th, over 20 young activists from our youth leadership program met with Israeli journalist Jacky Hugi to discuss Israeli media coverage of the Palestinian arena, the role of media during wartime, and the experiences of Israeli journalists on and after October 7th. The group also discussed the possible scenarios for the “day after” the war, exploring the problems and obstacles of each scenario. The meeting concluded with a fascinating conversation about maintaining hope for a different and peaceful future.
