2021 brought new opportunities and challenges for working towards the two-state solution. The escalation in May, the ascendance of a new Israeli government, shifting dynamics on the regional front related to the Abraham Accords and the continued impact of COVID-19. Every day, we at the GI worked with determination to promote dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians, to engage local and international decision-makers on measures that can engender a political horizon and to inform both publics of the continued viability and urgency of the two-state solution.
